One-Year Focusing Skills Training

This one-year programme is based on the Focusing approach and is designed for those who wish to develop their ability to relate to their inner experience through the “felt sense.”
The programme offers a structured and experiential learning process, combining theoretical understanding with consistent practice, within a safe and supportive environment.
Participants are guided step by step in developing the skills and confidence to apply Focusing in their personal life and, where relevant, in their professional practice.
What the programme offers
Through the training, participants are able to:
- Develop a deeper connection with their inner experience
- Cultivate a more compassionate and attentive relationship with themselves
- Learn to listen to the body and the “felt sense”
- Use Focusing as a tool for personal growth and self-awareness
- Apply Focusing skills in relational and professional contexts
Training structure
- Duration: 8 sessions
- Format: In person
- Frequency: One weekend per month
- Training hours: 96 hours
(study time, personal practice, and supervision are not included)
Certification
Upon completion of the programme, participants are awarded the
“Proficiency in Focusing Partnership Award” by The International Focusing Institute (TIFI), following their registration with the Institute.
This certification recognizes their ability to engage in Focusing partnership practice and forms part of the international Focusing certification pathway.
At the same time, participants become part of the wider international Focusing community.
