Two-year training in Focusing Οriented Therapy (FOT)
This programme is addressed to certified psychotherapists who are registered with a professional body, and includes the one-year Focusing training.
The training focuses on how Focusing and deep, empathic listening can be meaningfully integrated into the therapeutic process.
Participants develop the confidence and skills to apply Focusing safely and consistently within their professional practice.
Upon completion of the programme, participants receive a Focusing-Oriented Therapy Certificate from The International Focusing Institute (TIFI) and are eligible to be certified as Focusing-Oriented Therapists.
The structure of the training is experiential, with a strong emphasis on practical application and the development of a personal way of integrating Focusing within the therapeutic relationship.
Each participant is encouraged to develop their own authentic way of integrating Focusing into the approach in which they are already trained.
The training is delivered in person, within a safe, supportive, and collaborative learning environment.
The programme is completed over the course of two academic years.
Year 1
